* "Iraq War: From 'Operation Iraqi Freedom' to 'Operation Inherent Resolve' and beyond" (2022-03-19, presstv.ir/Detail/2022/03/19/678844/Iraq-War-From-Operation-Iraqi-Freedom-Operation-Inherent-Resolve) [archive.ph/7RjHf], video (https://preview.presstv.ir/ptv///SiteVideo/20220319/iraq.mp4):
Nineteen years ago today, then-US President George W. Bush announced the beginning of “Operation Iraqi Freedom” from the Oval Office, invading a sovereign nation to destroy its non-existent weapons of mass destruction, in a senseless war that has brought the Iraqi people anything but freedom.
At the time, Bush and Tony Blair, Britain’s then-prime minister, declared that their war coalition aimed to “disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, to end Saddam Hussein’s support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people,” even though UN inspectors had found no evidence of programs of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
“None of those pretexts will really help us explain the overall project that the US had in this region,” Tim Anderson, director of Centre for Counter Hegemonic Studies, told Press TV.
Since the invasion, more than one million Iraqis have been killed and millions more have been displaced. Sectarian violence, widespread displacement, poverty, and diseases such as birth defects and cancer have also sharply increased. But the leaders and commanders of the war have never been charged for any of their crimes.
“The war on Iraq was one of hate wars in West Asia/North Africa, which the US was carrying out in service of its plans to create a so-called New Middle East, where the entire region would be under the tutelage of the US and its key allies – Israelis and the Saudis,” Anderson said.
Operation Inherent Resolve -
In 2011, after seven years of carnage in Iraq, the US officially withdrew all of its troops, only to return to the country three years later under a new pretext, namely fighting the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist group. This time, the re-occupation of Iraq occurred under what Washington called “Operation Inherent Resolve,” which brought with it a new round of chaos and bloodshed to the oil-rich country.
Despite its claims of fighting Daesh, the US has repeatedly targeted the position of anti-terror forces in recent years. In 2020, the US assassinated prominent Iranian and Iraqi commanders, Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who had played a significant role in the final defeat of Daesh in 2017.
Iraqi resistance groups have been vehemently calling for the withdrawal of all American forces from their country, while, as observers say, the US is trying to create new crises in the Arab country to prolong its presence there.
Americans don’t care I -
Throughout the course of the war, the Americans committed countless atrocities in Iraq, as a result of which the Iraqis will suffer for years to come. But a video, titled Collateral Murder which was published by WikiLeaks over a decade ago, best captures how American soldiers, commanders, and leaders commit crimes against the people of Iraq – and by extension the Middle East – and how they feel about them.
The video shows the aerial view of an attack by a US Apache helicopter on a crowd of Iraqis in 2007. It depicts the indifference of the pilots as they open fire at the civilians and after they are informed that two children were killed in the attack.
“Well, it’s their fault for bringing their kids into a battle,” one of the pilots said to the other in a calm, uncaring voice. The other responds: “That’s right.”
Americans don’t care II -
While there are many more instances of how American politicians and officers dismiss the killing of civilians in the Middle East and elsewhere as “collateral damage,” it is worth mentioning remarks made by former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright long before the US invaded Iraq.
On May 12, 1996, a reporter asked Albright about the impact of US sanctions on the Iraqis: “We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?”
Then she infamously replied, “We think the price is worth it.”
Americans don’t care III -
Fast forward to 2022, only days into Russia’s military offensive against Ukraine, another former US secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice, fascinated observers by condemning the attack as a “war crime,” without a hint of irony about her own involvement in the killing of more than one million Iraqis in the illegal US war.
In an interview on Fox News on February 27, Rice, one of the key architects of the Iraq War, nodded along as Fox News host Harris Faulkner said, “I have argued that when you invade a sovereign nation, that is a war crime.”
“I think we are at just a real basic point there,” Faulkner added, as Rice nodded in solemn agreement, before responding, “It is certainly against every principle of international law and international order.”
In the lead-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Rice falsely claimed that former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein had “weapons of mass destruction.” She infamously declared before the war that “we don’t want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud.”
Americans don’t care IV -
Other recent examples of the American – and also European – indifference toward human life in the Middle East include the racist coverage of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, as Western commentators and reporters grieved over the loss of life in a “civilized” country that is nothing like “Iraq or Afghanistan.”
“This isn’t Iraq or Afghanistan. [Kiev] is a relatively civilized city where you wouldn’t expect this to happen.” CBS correspondent Charlie D’Agata said while reporting from the Ukrainian capital.
On the French channel BFM TV, a commentator noted that “we’re not talking about Syrians fleeing bombs of the Syrian regime backed by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, we’re talking about Europeans leaving in cars that look like ours to save their lives.”
Journalist Ulysse Gosset remarked that “we are in the 21st century, we are in a European city, and we have cruise missile fire as though we were in Iraq or Afghanistan, can you imagine!”

Douglas S. Blaufarb, 82, a retired Central Intelligence Agency operations officer whose posts included two years in the 1960s as chief of station in Vientiane, Laos, died Dec. 20 at a hospital in Winchester, Va. He had myelodisplasia.
As station chief in Laos, Mr. Blaufarb managed a so-called secret army of native tribesmen, including the Hmong, who fought the North Vietnamese in the mountains of northern Laos. For his work in these operations, he received the CIA's Intelligence Medal of Merit.
He began his intelligence career in Greece in the early 1950s, when he helped establish and manage radio facilities for a U.S.- and British-supported guerrilla action in Albania. The action failed because, as it was later learned, it was betrayed by H.A.R. "Kim" Philby, a high-level British Secret Intelligence Service official who was working for the Soviets.
In 1953, Mr. Blaufarb's tour in Greece ended, and he was sent on other missions around the world, serving in Saigon, Singapore and Vientiane, as well as at CIA headquarters. He retired from the agency in 1970 and spent the next two years doing international security affairs analysis for the Rand Corp.
He also wrote "The Counterinsurgency Era," which was published by the Free Press in 1977. In 1985, The Washington Post's Book World carried an article of noteworthy books dealing with the conflict in Vietnam, highly praising Mr. Blaufarb's work.
The article said that Mr. Blaufarb "understood what very few American officials ever learned: that the strengths and weaknesses of the two Vietnamese sides were the decisive factors in the war and that the United States, for all its power, had almost no ability to change those qualities."
Mr. Blaufarb, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a 1941 graduate of Harvard University, received a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. From 1941 to 1950, he was a radio news writer and editor with Voice of America in London and New York.
A former District resident, he maintained a home in the Washington area from the 1950s until retiring to West Virginia in 1980. He lived in Three Churches, W.Va.
In later years, he wrote, did consulting work and engaged in farming.
His wife of 48 years, Marjorie Warrilow Blaufarb, died in 1992. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Friar of Three Churches; four children from his first marriage, Ingrid Hughes of New York, Nora Blue of Edinboro, Pa., David Blaufarb of Silver Spring, and William Harrison of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a sister; and nine grandchildren.

* "The West India loan" (guide-to-the-archive.rothschildarchive.org/the-london-banking-house/depts/loans-business/the-west-india-loan) [archive.ph/rZk8j]:
Nathan Mayer Rothschild (1777-1836), a supporter of the abolition of the slave trade, played a role in a transaction which was significant in advancing the abolitionist cause. In August 1833, the British government led by the reformist Whig Earl Grey, passed the Slave Emancipation Act, giving all slaves in the British empire their freedom, albeit after a set period of years. Under the terms of the Act, slave owners received compensation for the 'loss of their slaves' in the form of a government grant; in contrast, enslaved people received no compensation. Compensation was abhorrent to abolitionists, such as Nathan, but under the leadership of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton MP, enough came to accept it as a necessary evil in order to achieve the greater goal of the abolition of slavery.
The 1833 Act did not come into force until 1 August 1834. Nathan Rothschild was the contractor (with other members of a consortium) for the ‘West India loan’ of 1835 (also referred to in some sources as the ‘West Indies loan’) which raised the greater part of the £20 million required by the British government to make the compensation payments. On 29 July 1835 Viscount Melbourne and Thomas Spring Rice (Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer respectively) explained the terms of the contract to around thirty interested parties.  The loan would not be raised through a bond issued by a banking house but through the sale of British government consols and long annuities to the highest bidder.  Concerns were expressed about the wisdom of removing so much money from circulation, and the ability of the Bank of England to supply sufficient bullion to meet subscribers’ obligations. Perhaps as a result of these concerns, on Monday 3 August 1835 only one tender was presented, all others having been withdrawn: the remaining tender was from “Mr Rothschild, Mr Montefiore, Mr Ricardo, Sir J. Reid”. It fell below the Treasury’s reserve offer, but after some short consultation, the group agreed to accept the government’s terms.
Regretfully, as is common for many of the early loan issues of the London house, there appears to be very little trace of the West India loan in the holdings of the Archive. As the loan did not take the form of a bond issued by the London bank, there is no documentation in the loans series. Nathan Mayer Rothschild died in 1836.

Once in Newport, Duarte Lopez was circumcised and took the name
Aaron. His papers, including many in the archives of the Newport Historical
Society and the American Jewish Historical Society at the Center for Jewish History in New York, document his involvement in Atlantic trade.Operating within
the British, Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese empires, Lopez’s ships sailed to
the British Isles, the Netherlands, the Iberian peninsula, along the eastern seaboard of North America, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and
the western coast of Africa. Although they were far-reaching, Lopez’s mercantile connections were not unusual within the Sephardic network of the Atlantic
world.
Lopez frequently sent ships and cargo to Charleston, South Carolina,
where Isaac Da Costa, a business partner, was well established. Da Costa was
KKBE’s first hazzan and in 1753 purchased the land that became the congregation’s cemetery. Listed on the cemetery deed are several Jews from Charleston
and beyond, including Moses and Aaron Lopez of Newport.8
Among the goods that Lopez exported to Charleston were: spermaceti
candles (made from sperm whales), furniture, axes, flour, and salted fish. The
Newporter also brought slaves from western Africa. For example, in 1763 he imported 134 slaves from the “Guinea coast.” Five years later, he brought another
63 slaves to Charleston. [end excerpt]

One of the Few Maps Showing East & West Florida During the British Colonial Period
A highly detailed representation of Archipelagic Florida divided into East and West Florida.
One of the earliest maps to focus on what would become the State of Florida and an excellent example of Florida depicted as an Archipelago, showing Southern Florida as a group of about 50 massive islands and a number of wide navigable water routes from the Gulf to the Atlantic.
The map is rich with place names and other early details. One of the most detailed maps of Florida for the period and one of the most curious.
British East and West Florida -
Under the terms of the 1763 Treaty of Paris, which ended the Seven Years' War (the French and Indian War), Spain ceded Spanish Florida to Britain. At the same time, Britain received all of French Louisiana east of the Mississippi River, with the exception of New Orleans, from France. Determining the new territory too large to administer as one unit, Britain divided its new southeastern acquisitions into two new colonies separated by the Apalachicola River: East Florida, with its capital in the old Spanish city of St. Augustine, and West Florida, with its capital at Pensacola.
British West Florida comprised parts of the modern U.S. states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Effective British control ended in 1781 when Spain captured Pensacola. The territory subsequently became a colony of Spain, parts of which were gradually annexed piecemeal by the United States beginning in 1810.
The settlement of East Florida was heavily linked in London with the same interests that controlled Nova Scotia. The East Florida Society of London and the Nova Scotia Society of London had many overlapping members, and Council frequently followed their suggestions on the granting of lands to powerful merchant interests in London.
Both Floridas remained loyal to Great Britain during the American War of Independence. Spain participated indirectly in the war as an ally of France and captured Pensacola from the British in 1781. In the 1783 Treaty of Paris, which ended the war, the British ceded both Floridas to Spain.

Chicago: De Laurence, Scott & Co., Copyright Date 1918. First Edition (?). Hardcover. Octavo. 458pp (plates not paginated). Original royal blue decorated cloth with gilt title and design to cover and spine. B&W frontispiece and plates and numerous illustrations in text. An extraordinary collection of magical and astrological lore, apparently assembled largely by "cutting and pasting" from earlier volumes. It would be an interesting exercise to try to ascertain just what de Laurence's sources were, but they appear to include Eliphas Levi (the cover design is obviously copied from the 1913 Rider edition of Levi's "The History of Magic"), Ebenezer Sibley; Raphael; etc. etc. - he has even snuck in the classic horror story "The Storm" by Sarah Elizabeth Utterson (1781–1851) but retitled "The Midnight Storm" and without any attribution (the inference being that de Laurence himself had written it). The publisher, Lauron William de Laurence (1868 - 1936), was a renowned book pirate, plagiarist, and publisher of occult literature. de Laurence was notorious for taking other people's works and reissuing them under his own name (sometimes retitling them in the process). For all his faults and eccentricities de Laurence played an important part in the occult history of the USA: he was a pioneer in selling occult books and supplies by mail order, and the books that he published were received with great fervor by many in the American occult community. The volume has the year 1918 on the copyright page, and while de Laurence publications are notoriously difficult to date, all indications are that this is probably its year of publication and that this was the first edition thus.

* (retrieved 2021-12-24, via facebook.com):
A Finnish blogger shocked Facebook when he published this article: Are you asking about the results of Russian "aggression"? They are as follows: half of Europe and part of Asia got their citizenship from the hands of this particular state.
Let's remind ourselves who exactly:
- Finland in 1802 and 1918 .. (until 1802 it never had its own state).
- Latvia in 1918 (until 1918 it never had its own state).
- Estonia in 1918 (it never had its own state until 1918).
- Lithuania regained its statehood in 1918 thanks to Russia.
- Poland restored its state with the help of Russia twice, in 1918 and 1944. The division of Poland between the USSR and Germany is only for a short period of time!
- Romania was born as a result of Russian-Turkish wars and became sovereign by the will of Russia in 1877-1878.
- Moldova as a state was born within the USSR.
- Bulgaria liberated itself from the oppression of the Ottoman Empire and regained its independence due to the victory of Russian weapons in the Russian-Turkish war in 1877-1878, which had this goal. As a thank you, the state of Bulgaria participated in two world wars as part of anti-Russian coalitions. Bulgaria is now a member of NATO and has American bases on its territory. After 1945, there was not a single Russian soldier on its territory ...
-As a result of this war, Serbia was born as a sovereign state.
- Azerbaijan as a state was first formed as a part of the USSR.
- Armenia was physically preserved and revived as a state only within the USSR.
- Georgia was physically preserved and revived as a state thanks to the Russian Empire
- Turkmenia never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Kyrgyzstan never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Kazakhstan never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Mongolia never had statehood and formed it only with the help of the USSR.
- Belarus and Ukraine also for the first time gained statehood as a result of the Great October Revolution within the USSR republics. And only in 1991 (also from Russia) they gained complete independence.
The role of Russia-USSR in the birth and formation of states such as China, Vietnam, North Korea, India, Greece (in 1821 Russia got it back from the Turks), Algeria, Cuba, Israel, Angola, Mozambique, etc. is also worth considering...
Such a strange "aggression" has historically shown by the Russians!
With the significant contribution of this country, even Switzerland achieved its independence from France. Better to say, it succeeded thanks to Suvorov (217 years ago) and since then Switzerland has never (! ) wasn't fighting;
It also took place:
- liberation of Austria from the Third Empire in 1945;
- liberation of Czechoslovakia from the Third Empire in 1945;
- The position of Catherine II in 1780 by the creation of the League of Armed Neutrality and the real support of the North American United States in the struggle for their independence from Britain.
- twice in the last 2 centuries, Russia gave independence to most European states after it destroyed Hitler and Napoleon;
- Stalin's attitude in negotiations with the USA and England, which gave Germany the opportunity to retain statehood after the defeat in 1945;
- Gorbachev's attitude, which made it possible to reunite both Germany in 1990 without unnecessary problems;
- The Soviet aid of Egypt, after which it managed to resist and strengthen independence in the war with Israel, Britain and France in 1956-57.
- USSR intervention in 1967 that stopped the war between Israel and Egypt (it actually saved the Arabs from being defeated in two wars in 1967-74).
- The crucial role of the Union ensured Angola's independence in 1975.
And lastly the main thing. It was the USSR that after winning in 2. World War II played a key role in securing the independence of most of the Western European colonies in the process of global decolonization initiated by the Union.
The whole history of Russia suggests that within any power and system, it has been consistent in enforcing the principles of independence and self-determination of nations and nations. She was the one who in every way possible helped create a multi-polar world at any time and all times.
Unfortunately, she very often sacrificed her own interests at the same time, and if Mother Russia's policy, even a fraction, was similar to that of the British, now half of the world would be part of the Russian Imperial Society of Nations. and the Russian people would bathe in luxury, like the sheikhs of Saudi Arabia, at the expense of states, countries and their capitals liberated by other colonialists.
THAT'S WHY HALF OF THE WORLD IS OBLIGATED TO RUSSIA FOR THE GRIND OF LIFE. And this is why you are all so guilty to this great country!
I'm sending this file to create a memory chain. In memory of 20 million Soviet citizens, 10 million Christians, 1900 priests who were killed, tortured, raped, burned, starved to death and destroyed by Nazis!
.. Now, more than ever, it is imperative to do everything so that the world never forgets, always remember how the Soviet people contributed to the liberation of Europe from fascism.
.. Please join us in making chain of memories, help spread the word..

I caught NATO lying.
US Secretary James Baker, man responsible for foreign affairs promised Russia (then USSR), that if NATO was to remain in Germany it would advance not an inch to the East in 1990. See page 6 (https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/document/16116-document-05-memorandum-conversation-between).
NATO's (official) handbook dated July 2014 "Russia's accusations - setting the records straight", bottom of page 2 no such promises were made. See page 2 (https://www.nato.int/nato_static/assets/pdf/pdf_2014_07/20140716_140716-Factsheet_Russia_en.pdf).

* "FILM PROVES DEATH CAMP PHOTOS WERE LIES" (2000-04-01, emperors-clothes.com/news/film.htm) [archive.is/tiCbu] [begin excerpt]:
The ITN crew (and the Yugoslav crew) moved on to the refugee center at Trnopolje. After filming refugees who were wandering around freely, Marshall took her crew into a small area partially enclosed by a fence. The fence, mainly chicken wire with a few strands of barbed wire, was falling apart. It had been erected before the war to secure a storage shed, some wheelbarrows and other equipment. The only people inside the enclosure were the ITN and RTS crews. A group of refugees gathered outside. They were curious to find all these movie people crammed into an awkward space, filming through a fence.
Penny Marshall went out of her way to film in the storage area.
Why?
[image]: Penny Marshall after her film crew has set up inside the fenced-in area at the Trnopolje refugee center. Is she hunting for the perfect subject? In any case, she soon found him: Fikret Allich. Note that in the libel case against LM magazine, the judge admitted that Marshall was the one behind barbed wire - but instructed the jury that this did not absolve LM of charges of libel. This paper details these efforts, while showing the advances over the preceding ten years. Interestingly, while labor historians have provided some important contributions in the past, they have refused to engage with the work of Kim Scipes, a major writer in the field, ignoring his path-breaking work yet supporting some of his major claims. The question is asked whether historians in this sub-discipline are being taught to over-prioritize archival works from governmental and organizational collections while ignoring what is happening in the real world.

'Early in my research, a friend with excellent knowledge of the United Auto Workers internal operations told me, "Don't give up. They are hiding something"…'
It’s 1990, and US labour is being outsourced to Mexico. Rumours of a violent confrontation at the Mexican Ford Assembly plant on January 8 reach the United Auto Workers (UAW) union in the US: nine employees had been shot by a group of drunken thugs and gangsters, in an act of political repression which changed the course of Mexican and US workers’ rights forever.
Rob McKenzie was working at the Ford Twin Cities Assembly plant in Minnesota when he heard of the attack. He didn’t believe the official story, and began a years-long investigation to uncover the truth. His findings took him further than he expected – all the way to the doors of the CIA.
Virtually unknown outside of Mexico, the full story of ‘El Golpe’, or ‘The Coup’, is a dark tale of political intrigue that still resonates today.

He was angered by Cuba's 1976 military intervention in Angola and was considering retaliation if Cuban forces were deployed elsewhere in Africa.
The information comes from documents declassified at the request of the National Security Archive.
They show that Mr Kissinger was eager for the US to stand up to Cuba.
The documents from the Gerald R Ford Presidential Library show that US officials devised plans to attack ports and military installations in Cuba in addition to measures ordered by Mr Kissinger to deploy Marine battalions based at the US Navy base at Guantanamo Bay to "clobber" the Cubans. 'With the Italian occupation, Tripolitania finally opens up to civilisation' — French illustration celebrating the Italian invasion of Ottoman Libya (Le Petit Journal, 15 October 1911).

And on the invasion – from our historical perspective. In 1919 Ukrainian Red Army was going to storm Kiev which was hold at the moment by Ukrainian nationalists and anti-Semites of S.Petyura, supported by the UK and France.
As the Red Army reached the outskirts of Kiev, the nationalist government announced that they have a ‘Deadly Weapon’ called ‘Violet Rays’. They announced on special leaflets that the Red Army has no chances because France supplied them with a new military technology – the violet rays which may burn or blind the entire enemy’s army in a moment radiated from the sky.
All Kiev residents were ordered to stay at basements and close windows – to prevent accidental exposure to violet rays.
That night was used by nationalists for mass evacuation in silence with all grabbed treasures and wealth.

On August 23, 1989, about 2 million people from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania formed a human chain that united all 3 countries to show the world their desire to escape the Soviet Union and the communism that brought only suffering and poverty. This power stretched 600 km.
- [comment]: 1989. The USSR was disintegrating under perestroika, chaos, shortages, inflation. Folks were sold a bill of goods that they could join the prosperous imperialist west. Along with a steady dose of anti-Slavic racism. Now they have the freedom to do farm work in the UK and be the targets of bigotry and racism.

A newly discovered document from March 1991 shows US, UK, French, and German officials discussing a pledge made to Russia that NATO will not expand to Poland and beyond. Its publication by the German magazine Der Spiegel on Friday proves Moscow right and NATO wrong on the matter.
The minutes of a March 6, 1991 meeting in Bonn between political directors of the foreign ministries of the US, UK, France, and Germany contain multiple references to “2+4” talks on German unification in which the West made it “clear” to the Soviet Union that NATO will not expand past the eastern borders of Germany.
“We made it clear to the Soviet Union – in the 2+4 talks, as well as in other negotiations – that we do not intend to benefit from the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Eastern Europe,” the document quotes US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Canada Raymond Seitz.
“NATO should not expand to the east, either officially or unofficially,” Seitz added.
A British representative also mentions the existence of a “general agreement” that membership of NATO for eastern European countries is “unacceptable.”
“We had made it clear during the 2+4 negotiations that we would not extend NATO beyond the Elbe,” said West German diplomat Juergen Hrobog. “We could not therefore offer Poland and others membership in NATO.”
The minutes later clarified he was referring to the Oder River, the boundary between East Germany and Poland. Hrobog further noted that West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl and Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher had agreed with this position as well.
The document was found in the UK National Archives by Joshua Shifrinson, a political science professor at Boston University in the US. It had been marked “Secret” but was declassified at some point.
Shifrinson tweeted on Friday he was “honored” to work with Der Spiegel on the document showing that “Western diplomats believed they had indeed made a NATO non-enlargement pledge.” [end excerpt]

ARA-LA/PART’s 35th anniversary commemoration, 4-7p, via zoom. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89688343629?pwd=dTZPL1BjY3Qza2xncy90TkcvMVljUT09 Meeting ID: 896 8834 3629 Passcode: 820170. People Against Racist Terror/Anti-Racist Action-Los Angeles (ARA-LA/PART) was launched in 1987, to counter a planned So Cal visit by J. B. Stoner, (one of the Birmingham church bombers during the KKK reign of terror in that city during the civil rights era). Although Stoner was not convicted of the bombing that killed four little girls, it was clear that there had to be a response and condemnation of such a racist terrorist, especially as he was seeking, despite his own advanced years, to recruit from the nascent nazi bonehead movement springing up at that time in the L.A. area and elsewhere. PART was formed and called a counter-demonstration for the venues in Glendale where Stoner was planning to speak. This year, 2022, marks the 35th anniversary of that launch, and PART is still around, as the subtitle of Anti-Racist Action-Los Angeles. The slogan, Be PART of the solution, still applies. This February, as it happens, also marks the 75th birthday of founder Michael Novick, so we are inviting you to join us to celebrate! Obviously, we won’t be having refreshments or birthday cake to share, as we have done on prior occasions, with Omicron still raging at this moment as we plan. But you are able to make yourself a bite to eat or lift a glass of good cheer as we commune over the internet or phone. Lydia Ponce of the American Indian Movement and Idle No More will be with us to do a land-back acknowledgment. Matt Sedillo, a former slam poetry champion who is now a world -renowned, published and academically-recognized “poet laureate for the movement” will be sharing some of his powerful work, including from his newest book. Michael Novick will probably share a few poems and thoughts himself, and there will likely be a few other surprises. “Capital is insatiable. As long as it is strong, it is ready to rob endlessly, ready to pour blood, devastate the whole world with fire, if only its profits would grow. The capitalists are the same robbers. Inside their country, they suck the blood of children of labor subject to them, and outside their country they try to increase the number of their possessions as much as possible. Hence conflicts and wars. And this world order will continue on earth as long as the working people do not throw off the parasite-capitalists from their shoulders, founding the kingdom of labor’ – Mikhail Frunze.
February 2, 1885 Mikhail Frunze was born to a Romanian (Moldovan) paramedics’ family in today’s Kyrgyzstan. A Bolshevik leader during and just prior to the Russian Revolution of 1917. Then a major Red Army commander in the Russian Civil War. A tactician who developed the Red Army tactics in the Civil war.
In 1919 his Red Army troops defeated the Whites of Kolchak in Siberia who were aided and supplied by the Brits. In 1920 defeated the Whites of baron P.Wranglel in Crimea. In 1921 helped to organize Turkish army aiding Kemal Ataturk. A statue of Frunze is as a part of the Republic Monument at the Taksim Square, in Istanbul.
In 1921, Frunze was elected to the Central Committee of the Russian Bolshevik Party. In 1924 was considered as a potential successor to Lenin due to his strength in both theoretical and practical matters and his seeming lack of personal ambitions. However, he died during a surgery operation in 1925.

February 2, 1943 – a medal of an antifascist partisan was introduced in the Soviet Union.
The picture: among the first decorated partisans was an Orthodox priest Fyodor Puzanov. Decorated personally in the picture by a communist and commissar, Hero of the Soviet Union K.Koritsky.
The figure of the priest is very interesting. A village priest, in 1928 repressed, 3 years spent in Gulag, then returned to his village church. In 1941, after Nazi occupation, collected all the church jewelry, collected money and jewelry from believers and handed it all to the Soviet Fund of Defense. Approximately half million rubles. The money was spent was building and buying a tank column. During the church services called the believers to resist fascists and join partisans. Supplied partisans with milk, meat and other food. Then became a partisans’ intelligence agent – moving as a priest through the country, collected information about Nazi troops’ moves. In January 1943 saved some 300 peasants who were destined to forced labor in Germany.
After WW2 had a conflict with the clerical leadership. According to their reports, he was bold enough and paid more attention to routine life of peasants than to spiritual or religious issues. Died in 1965.

February 2, 1944 – Telyush Kechil-Ool becomes a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was a commander of the Tuvan volunteers’ internationalist cavalry squadron. Nazis called them ‘The Black Death’. Cavalry squadrons of Tuvans charged usually at nights, often unexpectedly from rear front.
On February 2 they charged right under artillery fire on the entrenched positions of Nazis and Ukrainian Nazi collaborationists in West Ukrainian city of Rivne (Rovno) and seized the city.
From an order of Soviet commandment: “In the battle for the city of Rovno on February 2, 1944, a squadron of Tuvans, despite the enemy’s strong artillery, mortar, and machine-gun fire, broke into the city, whistling and shouting “Hurrah” staying right on horsebacks. They put the Nazis into a stampede, which ensured the sudden advance of our forces.’
Telyush Kechil-Ool died of numerous injures in June 1945.

February 14, 1942 - the oldest known antifascist resistance fighter died. His name was Matvei Kuzmin, aged 83 at the moment.
Born in 1858, a Russian peasant who lived most of his life in a forest, on hunting and fishing. In February 1942 his wooden forest hut was occupied by Nazis. They ordered him to lead them via forests in the flank of the Red Army battalion. They promised him food and a hunting rifle for that.
The old man sent his grandson to warn Red Army troops and pointed out the exact place where it is better to organize an ambush. Making the Nazis to circle all the night (the real distance was some 6 miles) to make them exhausted and after 12 hours led them right at the ambush. In the following fight some 50 Nazis were killed, some 20 – captured. The Nazi battalion commander shot Matvei Kuzmin when realized that was an ambush.
The picture: a statue to Matvei Kuzmin, Hero of the Soviet Union, in the Moscow Metro station ‘Partizanskaya’.

February 16, 1943 – an American antifascist resistance fighter Mildred Harnack (born Mildred Fish) was guillotined in Nazi Germany.
Born in Wisconsin in 1902. She was an American literary historian, author, and translator. She married a German academic and moved to Berlin lecturing on literature at the Berlin university. In 1930s, witnessing the rise of Nazism, she was among the organizers of an antifascist cell along with her husband Alfred Harnack.
By 1933, the Harnacks had adopted a left-wing ideology and were committed to the Soviet Union. On 1 January and 4 February 1933, Fish-Harnack wrote to her mother that she believed that the Soviet Union was the couple's best hope for a better world.
By 1940, the couple came into contact with other anti-fascist resistance groups in Germany and cooperated with them. The most important of these was run by German air force officer Harro Schulze-Boysen. The undercover political factions led by Harnack and Schulze-Boysen later developed into a network that collaborated with Soviet intelligence. Fish-Harnack became a resistance fighter as a member of a Berlin anti-fascist group, later called the Red Orchestra (Rote Kapelle) by the Abwehr.
In early June 1941 she got into contact with the Soviet embassy in Berlin to warn about Nazi invasion later that month. The couple were arrested in September 1942 and executed by Gestapo shortly after.
The United States government for decades concealed from the public Harnack's story because of her Communist sympathies. The Counterintelligence Corps (CIC) of the U.S. Army acknowledged her work leading a large group secretly fighting the Nazi regime but concluded that she deserved her punishment, considering her execution "justified."

Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757) was a prominent German mapmaker in the mid-eighteenth century. Initially apprenticed to a brewer, he trained as an engraver under Johann Baptist Homann in Nuremburg before setting up shop in his native Augsburg. In 1727 he was granted the title Imperial Geographer. His most famous work is Atlas Novus Sive Tabulae Geographicae, published in two volumes ca. 1730, although the majority of his maps are based on earlier work by other cartographers like the Homanns, Delisles, and de Fer.

Carl Spitzweg, German romantic painter who possibly reincarnated as Norman Rockwell, did several paintings of similarly cozy settings.
The Poor Poet is the most famous one -- many Germans were taught to associate a liberal arts education with this painting.
It's winter, water is leaking through a hole in the roof, which is why the poor poet uses an umbrella to keep his bed dry. Actually, he doesn't even own a bed, just a mattress on the floor. The poor poet does have an oven, but he is "so poor that he remains in bed to keep himself warm. He can only heat himself if he burns his works."

If Vicente Guerrero was president of Mexico from April 1, 1829 – December 17, 1829 it means that from California to Texas there had already been an African descent President  (Mexico) before that ever happened under US occupation over #Aztlan

Are you a Nazi?
The following is a test. One point for every policy position with which you agree:
1. Are you against teaching children as young as five years old about pan-sexualism, homosexuality, and transgenderism?
2. Are you for the enforcement of border laws and the expulsion of illegal aliens?
3. Are you opposed to outsourcing manufacturing to other countries?
4. Should the government encourage domestic economic self-sufficiency (i.e., the production of anything needed stays within the confines of the country)?
5. Do you believe that the people should have a direct say on government spending priorities such as infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, hospitals, communications towers)?
6. Should the government embrace a balanced budget, predicated on a strong currency?
7. Do you believe AntiFa terrorists should be prosecuted?
8. Should the income tax be capped at 14% – without any games regarding ridiculous deductions - and only reserved for the wealthiest members of society (no income tax at all for everyone else)?
9. Do you believe patriotism and civil manners should be taught in schools?
10. Do you believe that social welfare benefits (e.g., food stamps, welfare, housing) should be tied to work and good moral behavior, to include when necessary, government provided jobs (e.g., cleaning the streets, washing ambulances, etc) and requiring drug and alcohol tests before receiving such benefits?
11. Do you believe that the Government should privatize but regulate the vast majority of public services - such as electricity production, DMVs, etc?
12. Do you believe anyone receiving social welfare benefits (e.g., food stamps) should be required to (A) take a sobriety/drug test before receiving them and (B) work in some capacity helping the locality (e.g., sweeping the streets) until they find gainful employment?
13. Do you believe women should be encouraged to stay home and be mothers through incentives, such as lower taxes and assistance to young families that have more than two children?
14. Do you believe social welfare benefits, such as food stamps, should be a helping hand, not a permanent fix, with time caps on assistance?
15. Do you believe children should be taught to admire aesthetic beauty, physical strength, athleticism - and encouraged to participate in outside group activities as part of their education?
16. Do you believe the goal of schools should be teaching the fundamentals of math, science, history, and civics, instead of social justice and subjective math (i.e., Common Core)?
17. Do you believe marriage is between a man and a woman?
18. Do you believe small businesses should have a greater say in local tax and spend policies of a community than big businesses?
19. Do you believe patriotism is a virtue?
20. Do you believe in a strong military?

Those are the actual policies of the National Socialist German Workers Party of 1932. If you got more than eleven (11) points, welcome to the party.
